Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was a member of the team and captain of the Fierce Five in 2012 in addition to the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the team floor as well as the individual competitions. The bronze medal was awarded by her balance bar. She became the first American to be awarded many Olympic medals. In the 2016, Olympics she took home an Olympic gold medal in the team event that brought her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having being among the few Americans to win back-to-back gold medals for the team. She also won silvers in the individual all around event and floor exercises. Following the 2nd Olympics the gymnast stopped for three years gymnastics. Furthermore, she was a member of two gold medal-winning American team in gymnastics. Gymnastics was her first sport since age two, and her favorite event is Floor Exercise. Aly has a strong support for an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who died due to cancer. In the future, she plans to make a career from fashion. Aly would like to increase the length of her leotards and her socks. She's writing a book called Fierce which will come out later this year.
